Last Friday I Lost 2lbs. at weigh in! YAY! I have been tracking calories and the change has re motivated me. The weekend was wonderful, the weather here has been gorgeous! I spent Saturday de-cluttering the VHS & DVD cabinet. I am finally sending off a bunch of old VHS video's. While cleaning out the DVDs I came across the Ten Commandments. For the first time ever, I understood it! I am 39 years old! I have been reading the Chronological Bible (NIV) and finally am understanding and putting it all together. I still need to watch the 2nd disc. Maybe this weekend. After getting the house cleaned and watching more movies Saturday my husband and daughter and I went out to eat. That was nice to spend that time with just Mallory. Sunday we woke up a little late and LAZY so we didn't make it to church. I went by myself Sunday evening then enjoyed the drive home with the windows down and listening to K-Love! Monday morning I dropped the kids off at school and went to the Y, did the treadmill and weights. The daycare kids spent most of the day outside and I enjoyed that.
Little League has started again. One of my problems in the past year has been putting myself down at the bottom of the list. So, when planning my schedule and menu's this week I am making sure that if I am not going to be able to workout in the evenings to see what I can do during the morning or afternoon. Three days in and I am doing good. One week at a time is what I need to get back to. On Sunday's I get out the Big Calendar see what is going on for the week. Plan the menu, being sure to keep in mind if it needs to be a quick meal like sandwiches etc..or a crock pot meal. Then I go back over the week and see where I have the time to do a class or do I just have time for the treadmill etc.....I think the Old NEW Terri is back, I have checked back in! Studio Rio here I come! (I want to take a class there when I reach 160 lbs.)
Monday I called a lady back about joining a craft cell group. I am really looking forward to trying that out. Tuesday was sort of cold out, but it was wonderful! I was very motivated. Here we are today. I am getting ready to pick up Mallory then head to the Y. Tonight she has dance, that is sort of my ME time. I am in the car alone for an hour while I wait for her to get out of dance. I use that time for prayer, reading my Bible, or to just call a friend.
Just remember to make time for yourself somehow daily. You are a great investment.
Terri
