So here we are to Sunday evening again. It has rained the whole weekend including Friday. Saturday was quiet, I spent a bit of time dropping everyone off where they needed to go. Mike and I had a lot of time at home together. It was nice, considering we NEVER have the house to ourselves. We were able to visit, and just VEG! I made a roast in the crock pot and the house smelt so comforting all day. I like mashed potatoes, so I did them separately. For some reason I was craving a chocolate cake doughnut from Krispy Kreme! OMG, the thought of it just would not go away. After I picked up my Mom from the hair salon, I dropped her off back at the house then off I was on a mission. I went to KK, I ended up getting a dozen doughnuts. Six glazed, 3 chocolate iced and 3 chocolate iced creme filled doughnut's. I had to eat one on the way home. Michael called he was ready to be picked up so I went ahead and ate a creme filled. I pull up to get him and there he is with a dozen glazed from the fundraiser! Where was my head? We get home and of course, I have to have a glazed one. I know I better find myself at the Y Monday-Friday this week. I am not sure of ball practice schedule yet so I better be prepared.
The roast and all was wonderful by the way! Total comfort.
Sunday was the best. We all got up and went to church. Steve the pastor really gave us the word. Wave church has been such a blessing for me over the past 8 months. I feel I have spiritually grown so much. I still have a lot to learn. Came home took a little nap, did some laundry, got gas for the van, money at the ATM. Ready for Monday. We all went back to church for the Sunday night service AFTER,,,,,,,,,,,,we ate dinner at El Rodeo! Our favorite Mexican joint! Help me Lord!
The best is, we really had some nice down time with the kids this weekend and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love my family.
