Pilates Tuesday!

Love this class! Project 2013 is going great so far. Weigh in at Weight Watchers meeting last Wednesday went well. Down 2.4 pounds. Not so sure what tomorrow might bring. Went a little off track over the weekend. Ill deal with it and move on.

Project 2013 Kickoff

Kickoff

This year is off to a WONDERFUL start so far. Have made my list of resolution's/goal's for 2013. I am calling this "Project 2013" trying to stay away from the "resolution" word. I am back to Weight Watcher's weighing in at 220.6. Yeah that's right!! I was like WHAT??? Well, trying to take care of that and all my goals and projects will hand kind off go hand in hand with each other, and hopefully help each other out.

I have created some new labels for the blog, and would like to have something to contribute here at least once a week. I enjoy reading everyone's blogs, and really want to keep up with mine.

So, a quick update on the family. Mallory is married to Nick. Nick is in the Army and they are stationed in Texas at Fort Hood. I am hoping to make a trip there this November (part of Project 2013). Son Michael is leaving for Boot Camp this February. He will be headed to Fort Benning in Georgia. We will also be making a trip there when he graduates from Boot Camp. Looking forward to both trips.

So, here's to a blessed and successful 2013! I know it's going to be GOOD!

Health Checkups DONE!

Made all of my appointments for my doctors between September and October. So far all is well. Mammogram will be scheduled tomorrow.
All test are done. I'm good to go!

Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas!
This Christmas is a big improvement! Last year I felt like a lost soul. Feeling so blessed this year to be back where I belong with my husband of 21 years. Life at times can be SO challenging. Wondering if decisions you make are right or wrong. The should haves would haves. But, really what more could a women ask for? Not much, because I have it all. A wonderful husband an awesome daughter and son in law and a charming handsome son.Yeah, I'm blessed.

Thank you God for never leaving my side.

Hello, do you know me?

If you don't you should! I'm a pound of fat, and I'm the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet. Want to know why? It's because no one ever wants to lose me; I'm the Only One Pound, just a pound. Eveyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds or fifteen pounds, but never only one, so I just stick around and happily keep you fat. Then I add to myself ever so slyly so that you never seem to notice it, that is until I've grown to ten, twenty or even more pounds in weight. Yes, it's fun being Only One Pound of fat, left to do as I please. So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying "Oh, I only lost a pound." ( as if that were such a terrible thing!) For you see, if you do this you'll encourage others to keep me around because they will think I'm not worth losing. And I love being around you-your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you. Happy Days!! After all, I'm Only One Pound of fat!!!!
