welcome 2010............

It's the first day of 2010! Happy New Year. We had a wonderful New Year's Eve, Mike and I went to the service at church and it was awesome. Pastor Steve can really bring it. http://www.wavechurch.com/ click on live if you ever want to see what I'm talking about,,,,,I really love our church. After the service was over we came home and changed and joined our friends the Stedamns to see the New Year in and for a few games of bowling on the Wii! I think I want one!

Cheryl had a few New Year's tradition's in mind to make sure we were covered to have a wonderful year. We all ate 12 grapes at the 10 second count down mark, and we stuck a dollar in our bra's,,,I guess this will see that we have money through out the year as long as we don't spend that dollar. Interesting. I'll have to look those up and I am just curious to see what other's do to celebrate.

2009 went out peacefully and fun, also filled with love! Amen to that!

Today, 1-1-2010, I am still thinking about the past decade. I can't even believe how fast that went by. In 2000 we visited Disney World with my sister and her family and my Dad and Step Mom. The kids were so young and have some really good memories of that trip. Here are today and Mallory is going to be 18 in 19 days,,,she is counting them down! Michael will be 16 in April and is trying to be such the man; he is really turning into one. I'm so proud of both of them.

I can't wait to see what the year 2010 holds for us.

On the Menu for today is : Ham, Twice Baked Potatoes, Creamed Spinach and Herb and Cheese Crescent Rolls. No Black Eyed Peas for us, it never seems to work,,LOL! The house is clean, I will be catching up the laundry for the start of every one's work week and back to school.

So, peace to all and a wonderful 2010 to you,
