Today is Michael's 15th Birthday! Happy Birthday! It is Sunday April 26th, 2009 it is 90 degrees here today, HOT! We went to church this morning, and Michael took his friend Curtis with us and he really liked it. They are going to attend the youth service next Saturday night. Mallory and Michael have been wanting to go but haven't tried it yet. I think they just want someone to go with them. This will be a good thing. After church we came home and I made a BOXED Jello brand strawberry cheesecake for his birthday. With his birthday money he purchased an i-pod touch. We are going to go out for, wait for it, wait for it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mexican! YAY! Control Terri, control! I had some bacon left over in the fridge from something I had made so I made myself a BLT for lunch. I did have some cheez nips earlier. I think I am good to go. I need to work on my workout schedule for the week, and our menu. I will do that when we get back from dinner tonight. I also need to get my butt in gear and start laundry.
You know I sit and go on and on about not having enough clothes. I have plenty of clothes, I just need to get back into them. Keep that in mind!
Also, I was driving to the gym one day and realized while hearing a conversation on talkradio, that years ago like in 1994 ish or so, I had interest in becoming a real estate agent. Something just hit me. One of those moments. I have decided to put that idea back into play. No real estate is not so great right now, but it will get better. I have signed up for a free class about starting your career. I was working at the bank in 94 and we couldn't afford for me to quit work for the classes an all so i let the idea go. My new thoughts are: I have a daycare business, my Mom is here helping, Praise the Lord, I have 2 kids in high school, Praise the Lord, so why not go for it? A little scary. I have the time. I have an income, so why not get started. I can't go back to school right now for teaching, and maybe teaching is not what I am suppose to do. Not sure, but guess what, I will pray about this and ask God to lead me.
And one more thing, I am still fasting from the food network! NO MORE RECIPES!!!!!!!!!
