We have been members at our YMCA now for 4 months. It was little scary at first.I have been going to the GYM for 21 years. Should I say I have been a member in a gym. That doesn't mean I have always been an active member though. My point is, I have always joined gyms that were only for women. That was comfortable for me. Joining the Y was to be a good thing for all of our family to use. Thus far it (the membership) has been very well taken advantage of. Stepping out of my comfort zone was not so easy, but I had to do it.
The Y has a program called the Y-change. It is a 6 week program. The first one teaches you about nutrition. Y-change II is dedicated to fitness. SO, I thought I would go on with that. This morning, I went and participated in 2 classes. After I left I just felt so much better. I always do after exercising. I will try to remember to keep my progress updated on here.
